***Updated 4/10/15*** On 4/9/15 Milford Police detectives arrested and charged a 31yo Greenwood woman in connection with the PNC Bank Robbery that occurred on 4/2/15. Ashley R. Reynolds was charged with Robbery 1st Degree, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Reckless Endangering 1st Degree and Conspiracy 2nd Degree. Detectives discovered that both Reynolds and Tyre were involved in the armed bank robbery together. Reynolds was arraigned and committed to WCI in default of $75,000.00 cash bond. The joint investigation continues with Milford Police detectives and detectives from Denton Police Department, Caroline County Sheriff’s Office, the Delaware State Police and also Seaford Police Department. *Updated 4/4/15* The suspect has been positively identified as David Tyre, 35yo of Harrington. Tyre is also suspected in having involvement in armed bank robberies that occurred in Denton, Maryland also. This case is still under investigation, Milford Police detectives are conducting joint investigation with the Denton Police Department, Caroline County Sheriff’s Office and the Delaware State Police. **
At approximately 4:00 pm today the Milford Police responded to PNC Bank located at 655 N. DuPont Hwy after receiving a report of an armed robbery. Investigation revealed that an unknown male (possibly white male, 5’5 to 5’10, average build, wearing dark clothing and black knit hat) entered the bank, approached a teller and brandished a handgun. The suspect provided the teller with a note demanding money. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash then fled on foot toward Mcdonald’s parking lot and got into a purple or maroon colored older model vehicle and then fled the area.
