Milford Police investigate recent shootings, requests public’s help

The Milford Police is asking the public’s help with information relating to a shooting that occurred on 7/18/15, just after midnight, in the area of US 113 & NW 10th St. Investigation revealed that the 4 victims were traveling in a vehicle together northbound on US 113 and the vehicle came to a stop near the intersection at a traffic light. While stopped, a light-colored minivan pulled up next to the victims’ vehicle. Multiple gunshots were then fired from the minivan at the victims’ vehicle. The first victim was shot multiple times, the second victim was struck by a round that first traveled through the first victim’s body. The third and fourth victims were just barely missed by the gunshots as the rounds struck the windows and seats surrounding them. The minivan then fled northbound on US 113. The two victims who were shot were treated at Milford Bayhealth Hospital for non-life threatening injuries and later released. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Det.
