On 11/5/15 the Milford Police arrested and charged a 33yo Lincoln man stemming from two separate domestic incidents that both occurred on 11/5/15 at a residence located in the 600 block of SE Front St. Carlos H. Hernandez was charged with Stalking, Assault 3rd Degree and Criminal Contempt/ Violation of a Domestic Violence Protection Order from the first incident and then Aggravated Menacing, Stalking, Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, Reckless Endangering 2nd Degree, Criminal Contempt/ Violation of a Domestic Violence Protection Order, Disorderly Conduct, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Driving While Suspended or Revoked and other traffic offenses in the second incident. The Milford Police responded to the Milford Bayhealth Hospital on the morning of 11/5/15 and made contact with the 34yo female victim. The female victim was being treated for injuries sustained during a domestic assault. Investigation revealed that Hernandez was involved in a verbal dispute with the female victim. As the victim turned to walk away from Hernandez, he struck the victim from behind several times and then fled the residence. The victim suffered minor injuries to her back and neck. Upon being released from the hospital, the female victim returned to the residence. As she pulled her vehicle into her driveway, Hernandez also pulled his vehicle into the driveway behind her. Hernandez then maneuvered his vehicle facing the victim’s vehicle while she was still in her vehicle. Hernandez then used his vehicle to ram into the victim’s vehicle head on. Hernandez then exited his vehicle and went up to the victim’s driver’s side window and began banging on the window in an attempt to break it. Hernandez was unsuccessful at breaking the window and then fled the area in his vehicle. Hernandez was already court ordered not to have any contact with the female victim stemming from a domestic incident that occurred in February of 2015. The Milford Police were later assisted by The Delaware State Police in apprehending Hernandez in the Lincoln area. Hernandez was arraigned and committed to SCI in default of $36,800.00 secured bond.
