Airpark Plaza Reopened Following Bomb Threat Investigation

Airpark Plaza.jpgOn 12.10.2015 at approximately 10:55 am officers from the Milford Police Department responded to the Airpark Plaza in the 900 block of North DuPont Highway following a report of an anonymous caller claiming  there was a bomb on the roof.  Investigation revealed the anonymous caller contacted a business in the building to make this threat.  The building was evacuated by police, with the parking lot being closed also.  Delaware State Police Aviation checked the property by air, followed by Carlisle Fire Company Personnel checking the roof with several of it’s members.  The property was then checked by K-9 officers from the Delaware Capitol Police and Delaware State Police.  The property was deemed safe and reopened.  Milford Police continue to investigate this matter and are asking anyone with information to call 302.422.8081 or Crime Stoppers at 1.800.TIP.3333.  Tips can also be submitted online through Milford Police Department’s social media.
