Wawa Armed Robbery Investigation w/ Arrest

On 02.02.2016 officers from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to a report of an armed robbery at Wawa in the 900 block of North DuPont Highway.  Investigation revealed 3 armed men entered the store around 11:39 pm, displayed handguns and demanded money.  The suspects were able to obtain an undisclosed amount of money and fled prior to police arrival.  Further investigation determined the three suspects in the case were Anthony Stafford-Jordan, 19 of Wilmington, Devin A. Thomas, 19 of Newark, and Kameron Scott, 18 of Camden-Wyoming.  On 02.17.2016 all three were taken into custody by the Delaware State University Police, then turned Delaware State Police as a result of another investigation, and eventually turned over to Milford Police.  Below is the charge and bail information on all three.  The trio were all presented at Justice of the Peace Court #2 and committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in Smyrna.  All three are scheduled for Preliminary Hearings at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on February 26th.

Bond Info:  $55,000 cash

 

Defendant:  Kameron Scott, 18 of Camden-Wyoming, Delaware

Charges:  Robbery 1st (1 count)
