Harrington man charged with Home Invasion in Milford

On 3/1/16 the Milford Police Criminal Division arrested and charged a 34yo Harrington man in connection with a Home Invasion that occurred at a residence located in the 500 block of N. Church St on 2/29/16. Marlo A. Tolliver  was charged with Home Invasion, Robbery 1st Degree, Kidnapping 1st Degree, Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Firearm by Person Prohibited, Possession of a Weapon in a School Safe Zone, Reckless Endangering 1st Degree, Conspiracy 2nd Degree, Reckless Endangering 2nd Degree, Assault 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief Under $1000.00, Unlawful Imprisonment 1st Degree, Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony and Criminal Impersonation of a Police Officer. Investigation revealed that Tolliver and another unknown suspect forced their way into the victims’ residence while armed with handguns. Tolliver and the unknown suspect restrained the 36yo male victim and then proceeded to assault the male victim. The 25yo female victim was forced into one of the rooms inside the residence. Tolliver and the unknown suspect removed personal items from the male victim. During this time, the female victim was able to flee from the residence and contact the police. Both Tolliver and the unknown suspect fled the residence prior to police arrival. Tolliver was later located by Delaware State Police and turned over to the custody of Milford Police. Tolliver was arraigned and committed to SCI in default of $240,500.00 secured bond. The investigation is still ongoing.
