Milton man arrested on weapon charges at Milford apartment complex

On 6/25/16 the Milford Police arrested and charged a 19yo Milton man stemming from an incident that occurred in the Mispillion Apartment Complex. Thadius I. Johnson was charged with Aggravated Menacing (3 counts), Conspiracy 2nd Degree, Reckless Endangering 2nd Degree (3 counts), Resisting Arrest, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Disorderly Conduct. On 6/25/16 at 12:02 pm the Milford Police responded to the Mispillion Apartment Complex after receiving a report of a man with a handgun running in the parking lot of the complex displaying the handgun towards several adults and children. Police later identified the man as Thadius I. Johnson. The Milford Police established a perimeter and searched for Johnson after he was last seen fleeing to the rear of the complex as Milford Police arrived. With the assistance of DSP Aviation Unit and DSP K9 Unit, the Milford Police located Johnson hiding inside of a bush next to an apartment building within the complex. Johnson was then taken into custody without incident. Johnson was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia used to consume Heroin. After further investigation, the Milford Police also arrested and charged a 26yo Delmar woman for her connection to this incident. Victoria M. Bolen was charged with Conspiracy 2nd Degree, Hindering Prosecution and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. It was revealed that Bolen had been in the company of Johnson during the incident. Bolen attempted to provide Milford Police with false information regarding Johnson as he was attempting to flee and hide from police. Bolen was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia used to consume Heroin. Johnson was also wanted on active capiases out of Sussex County Family Court (6 times) and Sussex County Court of Common Pleas. Johnson was arraigned and committed to SCI in default of $30,697.00 secured bond. Bolen was arraigned and released on $3,200.00 unsecured bond.
