**Updated** Milford Police Seek Assistance With Locating 20 Year Old Milford Man

**Update**  On 08.30.2016 Mr. Harmon turned himself in to Milford Police.  He has been charged with Attempted Burglary 2nd Degree, 2 counts of Terroristic Threatening, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Harassment, 2 counts of Menacing, Criminal Mischief, 2 counts of Breach of Release, and 3 counts of Disorderly Conduct.  Mr. Harmon was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $10,000.  Mr. Harmon was committed to the custody of the Sussex Correctional Institution and is scheduled for a Preliminary Hearing on 09.09.2016 at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas.

Milford Police are seeking assistance from the public with locating a 20 year old Milford man following an investigation into an incident that occurred on the 28th of August at approximately 1:28 am.  Officers responded to an apartment in the Silver Lake Estates Apartment Complex to a report of a burglary in progress.  Prior to police arrival the suspect had fled the area, but the investigation determined John G. Harmon Jr, 20 of Milford, had reportedly attempted to gain entry into an apartment and as doing so he was making verbal threats towards the individuals inside.  Warrants have since been obtained for Mr. Harmon and Milford Police are asking for anyone with information about his whereabouts to call 302.422.8081 or Crime Stoppers at 1.800.TIP.3333.
