Altercation at Restaurant Leads To Arrest Of 24 Year Old Milford Man

On 01.22.2017 Milford Police were contacted in reference to an altercation that took place at Ruby Tuesday on 01.21.2017.  Investigation revealed Steven Price, 24 of Milford, engaged in a verbal confrontation with the victim that eventually lead to Mr. Price reportedly throwing a ceramic serving plate at the victim.  The victim, who was struck by the plate, received an injury as a result of this and had to seek treatment at an area hospital.  A warrant was later obtained for Mr. Price.  On 01.24.2017 he was contacted by officers in a parking lot on North DuPont Highway (US Rt 113) and taken into custody without incident.  Mr. Price has been charged with Assault 2nd Degree and Terroristic Threatening.  Mr. Price was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $7500.00 unsecured.  Mr. Price is scheduled for a Preliminary Hearing at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on 02.03.2017.
