Investigation Into Recent Armed Robberies Continues With Two More Arrests

As the investigation continues into recent armed robberies, Milford Police Detectives have made two more arrests.  On 01.26.2017 Shaiheme D. Edwards, 18 of Bridgeville turned himself into the Delaware State Police Troop #4 in Georgetown and later was turned over to Milford Police Detectives.  Further investigation determined the identification of “S-Dot” was Creshan W. Collick, 21 of Milford.  The tip received naming Mr. Collick as “S-Dot” came as he was in the lobby of Troop#4 waiting for Mr. Edwards.  Mr. Collick was taken into custody at the troop without incident.  Mr. Edwards has been charged with three counts of Robbery 1st Degree, Assault 1st Degree, two counts of Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony, Tampering With Physical Evidence, Two Counts of Conspiracy 2nd Degree, Theft Under $1500.00, Aggravated Menacing, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, and Possession of a Weapon with a Removed or Altered Serial Number.  Mr. Collick has been charged with two counts of Robbery 1st Degree, Assault 1st Degree, Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony, Tampering With Physical Evidence, and Conspiracy 2nd Degree.  The pair were both presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2,where bail was set for  Edwards at $244,000.00 secured and for Collick at $190,000.00 secured.  Both have been committed to the custody of the Delaware Department of Correction at the Sussex Correctional Institution.  These arrests were made in connection with investigations into armed robberies at Cypress Liquors (November 2016) and Mike’s Liquor Mart (January 2017).  Investigation into armed robberies at Dash In and Royal Farms (US Rt 113) are still ongoing.

On 01.22.2017 Milford Police charged two individuals as part of an ongoing investigation into recent armed robberies.  Elijah L. Cannon, 19 of Ellendale, and Nikkesha J. Scott, 20 of Harrington, both were developed as suspects as this investigation progressed, with a third man who is still at large.  Shaiheme D. Edwards, 18 of Bridgeville, was a third individual identified through this investigation and is currently being sought by police.  On 01.21.2017 Ms. Scott was taken into custody by the Delaware State Police on a traffic stop in Harrington and later turned over to Milford Police.  Mr. Cannon was located on 01.22.2017 by officers from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division in the Riverwalk Shopping Center after receiving a tip about his whereabouts.  These arrests are are affiliated with the investigations of armed Robberies at Cypress Liquors (November 2016) and Mike’s Liquor Mart (January 2017).  Mr. Cannon has been charged with Robbery First Degree, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Firearm By Person Prohibited, Possession of a Weapon With Altered Or Removed Serial Number, Aggravated Menacing, Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony, Tampering With Physical Evidence, and Conspiracy Second Degree.  Ms. Scott has been charged with two counts of Robbery First Degree and two counts of Conspiracy Second Degree.  Mr. Cannon was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #7, where bail was set at $47,000.00 Cash Only.  Ms. Scott was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #3, where bail was set at $70,000.00 Secured.  Mr. Cannon is scheduled for a Preliminary Hearing at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on 01.27.2017.   Ms. Scott is scheduled for Preliminary Hearing at the Sussex County Court of Common Pleas on 01.26.2017.  Both were committed to the custody of the Delaware Department of Correction, with Mr. Cannon at the Sussex Correctional Institution and Ms. Scott at Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution.  This investigation is ongoing and has been a collaboration with the Dover Police Department and the Delaware State Police.  Milford Police still are seeking Mr. Edwards and any information about an associate of his with the nickname “S-Dot”, who is described as a black male in his early 20’s.  Milford Police urge anyone with knowledge about his whereabouts or have information about “S-Dot” to call 302.422.8081 or Crime Stoppers at 1.800.TIP.3333.  Tips can also be submitted online at MilfordPoliceDE.org/tips/ .  Please do not confront these individuals as they are considered to be armed and dangerous.
