On 05.22.2017 at approximately 9:24 am officers from the Milford Police Department responded to an apartment in the unit block of Northwest Front Street (SR 14) to a report of a verbal altercation. Upon arrival officers contacted Marvin D. Spady, 46 of Milford, who initially advised he was unaware as to why officers were called to the home. Mr. Spady eventually advised officers he was aware as to why the were there and a verbal altercation had taken place. Mr. Spady told officers the second party involved, Jennifer M. Sparacio, 29 of Milford, was there but fled through a window upon police arrival to avoid being taken into custody on active warrants out of Kent County Superior Court and the Milford Police Department. Further investigation revealed Ms. Sparacio was actually in the home and both her and Mr. Spady were taken into custody. Ms. Sparacio initially gave officers a name other that her own to avoid them learning her true identity. Mr. Spady has been charged with Hindering Prosecution. Mr. Spady was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #7, where bail was set at $1000.00 unsecured. Ms. Sparacio was charged with Conspiracy Third Degree and Shoplifting as part of an April 5th investigation into a shoplifting at Walgreens, in which a warrant was on file. She was charged with Criminal Impersonation after a warrant was obtained following a May 19th investigation in which it was learned she gave a false name to an officer who contacted her on that date. Finally, she was charged with Criminal Impersonation for giving a false name to officers who responded to the May 22nd incident. Ms. Sparacio was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #7, where her bail was set at $1500.00 unsecured and is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Commons Pleas in June for an arraignment. Ms. Sparacio is scheduled to appear at the Justice of the Peace Court #6 on June 13th for an arraignment on the May 22nd one of the two Criminal Impersonation charges, as a criminal summons was issued it that case.
