Investigation Into Physical Altercation On Southeast 2nd Street Leads To Arrest

On 05.25.2017 at approximately 6:00 pm, officers from the Milford Police Department responded to a fight in the 500 block of Southeast 2nd Street.  Upon arrival officers contacted Antonio C. Tyler, 37 of Milford.  Upon initial contact with Mr. Tyler he provided a false name to officers and attempted to flee in his vehicle, nearly striking one officer.  Mr. Tyler was eventually taken into custody at the scene.  Mr. Tyler was transported to the Milford Police Department where he was charged with Reckless Endangering Second Degree, Criminal Impersonation, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct.  Mr. Tyler was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $3500.00 secured.  Mr. Tyler was committed to the custody of the Delaware Department of Correction at the Sussex Correctional Institution.  Mr. Tyler is scheduled for a Bail Review on 05.30.2017 at the Sussex County Court of Common Pleas.
