Milford Police Seek Public Assistance With Locating Wanted Man Following Assault

On 07.21.2017 at approximately 3:59 am, officers from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to a residence in the 300 block of Southeast 2nd Street to a report of a domestic related physical altercation.  As a result of the investigation a warrant was obtained for Huber R. Velasquez-Rodriguez, 36 of Milford.  Investigation revealed Mr. Velasquez-Rodriguez reportedly struck the victim several times, causing minor injuries to the victim that required her to be transported by Carlisle Fire Company personnel to Bayhealth in Milford for treatment.  This assault was witnessed by two juveniles, one of which called the police.  Mr. Velasquez-Rodriguez fled the scene prior to police arrival and has yet to be located.  Mr. Velasquez-Rodriguez is described as a Hispanic male, 5ft 3 in tall, with a medium build.  Milford Police ask anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mr. Velasquez-Rodriguez to call 302.422.8081 or Crime Stoppers at 1.800.TIP.3333.  Tips can also be submitted online at
