Domestic Situation Results In Arrest Of Two Milford Women

On 07.28.2017 at approximately 12:26 pm, officers from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to an apartment in Brightway Commons to a report domestic related altercation.  This investigation resulted in Dana Harris, 32,  and Dana D. Harris, 18, both of Milford being charged.  Dana Harris (32) was initially engaged in an altercation with a female victim, which eventually lead to Dana D. Harris (18) and Dana Harris (32) engaging in an altercation following the original incident.  As a responding officer arrived and attempted to separate the two, both struck the officer.  The officer received a minor injury as a result of this incident.  As the two were trying to be taken into custody, they both continued to resist being arrested.  Dana Harris (32) was charged with Assault 2nd Degree With Injury to Law Enforcement Officer, Assault Third Degree, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct.  Dana D. Harris (18) was charged with Assault 2nd Degree With Injury to Law Enforcement Officer, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct.  Dana Harris (32) was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $7500.00 unsecured.  Dana Harris (32) is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on August 11th for a Preliminary Hearing.  Dana D. Harris (18) was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $12,100.00 unsecured.  Dana D. Harris (18) is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on August 11th for a Preliminary Hearing.
