Milford Man Charged Following Burglary Investigations

On 08.17.2017 Milford Police arrested Marque Anthony, 28 of Milford, to complete an investigation into thefts from vehicles and dwellings.  On 08.17.2017 officers from the Milford Police Department contacted Mr. Anthony on North Street and took him into custody as it was previously known he was wanted by Kent County Superior Court and Justice of the Peace Court #6.  As Mr. Anthony was being taken into custody, items from a vehicle burglary were located in his possession, as well as drug paraphernalia.  Further investigation connected Mr. Anthony to other vehicle burglaries officers have responded to in recent weeks, as well as burglaries from dwellings.  Mr. Anthony has been charged with two counts of Burglary Second Degree, six counts of Burglary Third Degree, Theft Over $1500.00, nine counts of Theft Under $1500.00, Failure to Comply With The Taking of Fingerprints, two counts of Criminal Mischief, two counts of Criminal Trespass, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Mr. Anthony was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $17,452.00 secured and is scheduled for a Preliminary Hearing in the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on 08.25.2017.  Mr. Anthony was committed to the custody of the Delaware Department of Correction at the Sussex Correctional Institution.
