Milford Police Requests Public Assistance

The Milford Police Department is asking for the publics help in the apprehension of John Gleysteen, who is pictured below.

On August 22, 2017 Milford Police responded to the 600 block of Marshall Street in order to take Gleysteen into custody, after receiving an anonymous tip that he was in the area, and had several outstanding capiases. Police made contact with Gleysteen and attempted to place him in custody. Gleysteen resisted arrest and ran from police and a foot pursuit ensued. Gleysteen ultimately eluded Police by entering a thick wooded area just south of McCoy Street. The Delaware State Police Aviation Unit was called and assisted Milford Patrol and K-9 unit with trying to locate the suspect.  Unfortunately the search did not yield positive results.

Gleysteen has several capiases out for his arrest as well as a warrant for his arrest from Milford Police Department.
