Altercation Leads To Arrest Of Milford Woman

On 09.02.2017 at approximately 11:14 pm, officers from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to a residence in the 200 block of Southeast 2nd Street to a report of an altercation.  Following a verbal altercation officers learned Savanah Haney, 29 of Milford, reportedly struck the victim multiple times causing minor injuries.  Ms. Haney was taken into custody without incident at the scene.  This was also witnessed by two children who were in the home at the time of this incident.  Ms. Haney has been charged with two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Assault 3rd Degree.  Ms. Haney was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #3 in Georgetown, where bail was set at $750.00 unsecured along with a no contact order with the victims.  Ms. Haney is scheduled to appear at the Sussex County Family Court on 09.18.2017 for an arraignment.
