Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Charges For Dover Man

On 09.23.2017 Milford Police arrested Aaron Wright, 24 of Dover, after marijuana was located in his vehicle during a traffic stop on North Rehoboth Boulevard.  On 09.23.2017 at approximately 3:21 am, an officer stopped a Acura MDX after observing a traffic violation.  As the officer was conducting the stop, an odor of what was believed marijuana was noticed coming from the vehicle.  A subsequent search of the vehicle located 17.2 grams of marijuana and packages of suspected edible THC.  Mr. Wright was taken into custody at the scene without incident and has been charged with Possession With The Intent To Deliver A Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, and Operating a Vehicle With Improper Window Tinting.  Mr. Wright was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #7, where bail was set at $3200.00 unsecured.  Mr. Wright is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on 09.29.2017 for a Preliminary Hearing.
