Vehicle Equipment Violations Lead To Man Wanted By ICE Being Located

On 10.06.2017 at approximately 12:32 pm an officer from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division observed a Chevrolet Tahoe being operated with noticeable equipment violations.  The officer conducted a traffic stop on that vehicle and made contact with it’s operator who initially provided a false name.  The officer then utilized a mobile finger print scanner and received a response that advised the operator was being sought by United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement.  Marco Florez-Hernandez (AKA Marco Ilorez), 38 of Seaford, was taken into custody at the scene without incident.  Mr. Florez-Hernandez has been charged with Criminal Impersonation, Driving Without A Valid License, Rear Lamps and Reflectors Red Color, and Operating a Vehicle With Improper Window Tinting.  Mr. Florez-Hernandez was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $1003.00 cash only, in addition to a detainer being placed by ICE.  Mr. Florez-Hernandez was committed to the custody of the Delaware Department of Correction at the Sussex Correctional Institution.
