DUI Investigation Leads To Multiple Charges For Milford Woman

On 12.08.2017 at approximately 8:16 pm, officers from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to Cypress Hall Shopping Center (South DuPont Boulevard US Rt 113) after it was reported a vehicle had driven over a curb in the parking lot and ended up stationary in an adjacent field.  The investigation led to heroin and drug paraphernalia being seized, as well as the officer learning the operator’s Delaware driver’s license had been suspended.  Further investigation also revealed the operator was reportedly operating the vehicle under the influence of heroin.  Warrants were obtained for Samantha J. Montgomery, 24 of Milford, and she has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving While Suspended or Revoked, and Driving a Vehicle Under the Influence of Drug.  Ms. Montgomery was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #3 in Georgetown, where bail was set at $2000.00 unsecured.  Ms. Montgomery is scheduled to appear at the Justice of the Peace Court #3 in Georgetown for an arraignment on 12.13.2017.  Updated photo not available at the time of this release.
