Traffic Stop Leads To Heroin, Marijuana, And Crack Cocaine Being Seized

On 12.19.2017 a traffic stop on North DuPont Boulevard resulted in the arrest of a pair.  An officer on patrol on North DuPont Boulevard (US Rt 113) observed a vehicle being operated by a man who matched the description of a man who was wanted and had suspended license.  A subsequent stop of the vehicle led to further investigation and a search that located marijuana, crack cocaine and heroin.  Richard H. White, 29 of Greenwood, was taken into custody and charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving While Suspended, Failure to Have Required Insurance, Possession of Marijuana, and Failure to Signal.  Mr. White was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $3700.00 unsecured.  Mr. White was released and is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on February 7th for an arraignment.  A passenger in the vehicle was taken into custody after it was learned she was wanted by the Kent County Family Court.  Rusheena R. Lewis, 34 of Milford, was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2 and was released with a later date to appear at the Kent County Family Court.
