Counterfeit Money Investigation Results In Arrest of Milford Man

On 12/21/17 at approximately 10:27 a.m., the Milford Police Department Patrol Division responded to Seawatch located at 242 South Rehoboth Blvd, Sussex County, Milford, DE for a counterfeit money investigation. Investigation revealed that a Seawatch employee had been passing counterfeit U.S. Currency through a vending machine on the property.  The suspect was identified as Geoffrey Glovacz, 20 of Milford, DE.  A warrant was obtained for Glovacz reference to this investigation.

On 12/22/2017, Glovacz turned himself into Milford Police Department. He was charged with Forgery 1st Degree.  He had a presentment through Justice of the Peace Court 3 and was released on $500.00 unsecured bail.  He was ordered to appear in the Kent County Court of Common Pleas at a later date for a preliminary hearing reference to this case.
