Month Long Drug Investigation Results In Arrests

On 01.10.2018 at approximately 6 am officers assigned to the Milford Police Department’s Special Operations Group executed a search warrant at an apartment at 10 Northwest Front Street (SR 14).  This search warrant concluded a one month investigation by the Milford Police Department’s Drug Unit into illegal drug sales.  The search warrant resulted in heroin, drug paraphernalia, and money being seized.  The approximate street value of the seized heroin is $100,000.00.  Marvin D. Spady, 46, Jennifer Sparacio, 29, and Orlando C. Pettyjohn, 55, all of Milford were taken into custody.  Mr. Spady has been charged with Possession With The Intent To Deliver A Controlled Substance, Possesses A Controlled Substance In A Tier 5 Quantity, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Ms. Sparacio has been charged with Possession With The Intent To Deliver A Controlled Substance, Possesses A Controlled Substance In A Tier 5 Quantity, Breach of Release, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Mr. Pettyjohn has been charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Mr. Spady was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $43,500.00 secured.  Mr. Spady is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on January 19th for a Preliminary Hearing.  Ms. Sparacio was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $44,500.00.  Ms. Sparacio is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on January 19th for a Preliminary Hearing.  Mr. Pettyjohn was issued a criminal summons and released and is scheduled to appear at the Justice of the Peace Court #6 for an arraignment on January 30th.  Both Mr. Spady and Ms. Sparacio have been committed to the custody of the Delaware Department of Correction at the Sussex Correctional Institution.  The Milford Police Department’s Drug Unit was assisted with this investigation by the Delaware State Police Kent County Drug Unit.
