Chief Kenneth Brown Recognizes Several Members of the Milford Police Department and Milford Community

On 02/26/2018, during the City Council Meeting held in the Joseph Ronnie Rogers Council Chambers, Chief Kenneth Brown recognized several members of the Milford Police Department, as well as one member of the Carlisle Fire Company in front of the Milford City Council.

Chief Brown recognized Sergeant Robert Masten in front of Milford City Council for receiving the  2017 Officer of the Year Award for the Milford Elks Lodge #2401.  Sergeant Masten was presented this award during a dinner at the Elks Lodge on 02/16/2018.

Chief Brown recognized the 2017 Officer of the Fourth Quarter, Patrolman First Class Nigel Golding, the 2017 Officer of the Year, Detective/Corporal Timothy Maloney, and the 2017 Civilian of the Year, Dispatcher Valerie Springer. They were all commended for their outstanding performance and their dedication to serving the Milford Community.

Chief Brown then recognized Captain Lewis Sacks of the Carlisle Fire Company for the assistance he provided with the apprehension of a combative suspect on February 17, 2018. He provided assistance to a Milford Police Officer, who was taking a fugitive into custody, who was highly intoxicated and was resisting arrest.

Chief Brown ended with introducing the two new patrolmen that recently graduated from the Delaware State Police Academy on 02/16/2018, Patrolman Breckner and Patrolman Malone.
