Sergeant Robert Masten Named The 2017 “Officer Of The Year” For The Milford Elks Lodge #2401

On 02/16/2018, Sergeant Robert Masten was awarded the 2017 Officer of the Year Award for the Milford Elks Lodge #2401. Sergeant Masten received the award at a dinner hosted by the Elks Lodge.  Sergeant Masten was awarded this honor due to his dedication and impressive achievements while serving the citizens of Milford.

Sergeant Masten has been employed with the Milford Police Department since March 2002. He currently is assigned as the Sergeant of the Community Policing Unit where he is the School Resource Officer for the Milford Senior High School.  Sergeant Masten is also the senior Public Information Officer for the Milford Police Department.  Sergeant Masten is a 1994 graduate of Milford Senior High School and later earned a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from Wilmington University.

On 02/26/2018, Chief Kenneth Brown recognized Sergeant Masten for his award in front of the Milford City Council during their regularly scheduled meeting.
