Milford Man Charged As Part Of Unlawful Use Of Credit Card Investigation

On 03.04.2018 Milford Police arrested a 24 year old Milford man as part of an investigation into the unlawful use of a credit card.  On 03.04.3018 officers from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to Cypress Hall in the 700 block of South DuPont Boulevard (US Rt 113) to look for Corey G. Comstock, 24 of Milford, after he fled from an area residence following a domestic related incident.  Officers were able to locate Mr. Comstock laying on a bank of a retention pond.  Upon making contact with Mr. Comstock it was learned he was wanted by Milford Police as part of an unrelated investigation.  It was found that a warrant was on file for Mr. Comstock for the reported unauthorized use of a credit card.  A subsequent search of Mr. Comstock located drug paraphernalia.  Mr. Comstock has been charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, three counts of Unlawful Use of a Credit Card, and Theft Under $1500.00 with Victim 62 Years or Older.  Mr. Comstock was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #3, where bail was set at $768.00 secured.  Mr. Comstock was committed to the custody of the Delaware Department of Correction at the Sussex Correctional Institution.  Mr. Comstock is scheduled to appear at the Sussex County Court of Common Pleas on 03.08.2018 for a Preliminary Hearing.
