Disorderly Behavior Results In Arrest Of Houston Man

Location of Incident: Private Parking Lot 500 Block Milford-Harrington Hwy (SR 14)

On 06.09.2018 officers from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the parking lot of Easy Speak on Milford-Harrington Highway (SR 14) to a report of a disorderly individual.  Upon arrival officers made contact with John E. Pleasanton, 51 of Houston.  Investigation revealed prior to officers arrival Mr. Pleasanton was screaming and had alarmed people nearby.  Mr. Pleasanton had also refused requests to leave the area.  Mr. Pleasanton was taken into custody and a subsequent search located marijuana in his possession.  Mr. Pleasanton has been charged with Possession of Marijuana and Disorderly Conduct.  Mr. Pleasanton was committed to the custody of the Delaware Department of Correction due to his level of impairment.  Mr. Pleasanton was later presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #7 where bail was set at $150.00 unsecured.  Mr. Pleasanton is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on 08.29.2018 for an arraignment.  Pleasanton
