Proactive Patrols Located Pair Of Wanted Men In Bicentennial Park

Location of Incident’s: Bicentennial Park 200 Block Northeast Front Street (SR 14)

Proactive Patrols have led to the arrest of two wanted men in Bicentennial Park. The first of the two arrests came on when an officer from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division was conducting a proactive patrol of Bicentennial Park on 06.20.2018 at approximately 8:42 pm.  The officer located Antonio Reynolds, 36 of Lincoln, in the park and was aware he was wanted by the Kent County Court of Common Pleas and Justice of the Peace Court #6.  Mr. Reynolds was taken into custody and presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $1848.00 cash.  Mr. Reynolds was committed to the custody of the Delaware Department of Correction at the Sussex Correctional Institution.  The second of the two arrests occurred on 06.22.2018 at approximately 12:42 am.  An officer conducting a proactive patrol contacted a man sleeping on a bench during hours the park is closed.  Donald S. DeWitt, 50 of Camden-Wyoming, was taken into custody after it was learned he was wanted by the Wilmington Police Department for Terroristic Threatening.  Mr. DeWitt was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #11, where he was committed to the custody of the Delaware Department of Correction at the Sussex Correctional Institution due to his level of intoxication.  Mr. DeWitt was scheduled to appear for a presentment at a later date and time.
