Foot Patrol Leads To Drug and Weapon Charges For Magnolia Man

On 09.22.2018 a pro-active foot patrol in Brightway Commons led to the arrest of a 24 year old Magnolia man.  On 09.22.2018 at approximately 1:03 am, officers from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division contacted Shakur O. Manzo, 24 of Magnolia, during this patrol.  During the initial contact with Mr. Manzo is was learned that he had previously been barred from the property.  Mr. Manzo was taken into custody and a subsequent search led to crack cocaine and a knife being located.  Mr. Manzo has been charged with Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, Possession With The Intent to  Deliver a Controlled Substance, Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon, and Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree.  Mr. Manzo was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #7, where bail was set at $31001.00 Unsecured.  Mr. Manzo is Scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on 09.28.2018 for a Preliminary Hearing.
