**UPDATE Suspect Arrested** Milford Police Currently Investigating Serious Assault

Through investigation, Detectives were able to identify the suspect in this case as Kevin L. Kimbrough, 37 of Frederica, DE.  A warrant was obtained for Kimbrough reference to this incident.
On 04/23/2019, The U.S. Marshals Service First State Fugitive Task Force apprehended Kevin L Kimbrough in the 1600 Block of Bay Rd. Milford.  The Task Force then turned Kimbrough over to Milford PD.  Kimbrough was formally charged with Attempted Murder 1st Degree, Attempted Carjacking 1st Degree, Possession of a Deadly Weapon During The Commission Of A Felony, and Unlawful Imprisonment 1st Degree.  Kimbrough also had 2 court capiases for his arrest.  Kimbrough had a presentment through the Justice of the Peace Court 2, where he was committed to the Department of Correction in default of $622,000.00 USC cash bail.  Kimbrough was also issued a no contact order with the victim and Perdue Farms, Inc.  Kimbrough was ordered to appear in the Kent County Court of Common Pleas at a later date for a preliminary hearing in connection with this investigation.

Detectives are currently investigating a serious assault that occurred between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. on 04/17/2019 in the parking lot of Perdue Farms, Milford, DE.  Milford Police responded to the factory’s parking lot after receiving a call that the victim had been seriously assaulted by an unknown suspect.  The victim was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment and is listed in stable condition at the time of this release.
