Pair Of Investigations Lead To Multiple Charges For Milford Man

On 06.17.2019 Milford Police arrested a Milford man after a warrant was obtained following an April investigation into a theft.  In the April investigation it’s been alleged Kofi O. Fowler, 45 of Milford, removed money from a wallet inside a residence in the 600 block of Northwest Front Street (SR 14).  Mr. Fowler was charged with Theft Under $1500.00.  Mr. Fowler was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $500.00 unsecured, along with a no contact order with the victim.  06.20.2019 Milford Police initiated a second investigation after it was learned Mr. Fowler allegedly contacted the victim at a residence in the 600 block of Northwest Front Street (SR 14) in an attempt to persuade them not to follow through with prosecution in the theft case.  During this incident Mr. Fowler reportedly forced his way into the residence.  As a result of this a warrant was obtained and Mr. Fowler has been charged with Tampering With a Witness, Offensive Touching, Breach of Release, Burglary 3rd Degree, and Harassment.  On 06.22.019 Mr. Fowler was arrested and presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #7, where he was released on his own recognizance.  Mr. Fowler is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on 07.12.2019 for a Preliminary Hearing.
