Investigation Leads To Multiple Drug Related Charges For Milford Man

On 09.12.2019 the Milford Police Department’s Drug Unit and the U.S. Marshals First State Fugitive Task Force arrested Anthony M. Barnes, 54 of Milford, in the 200 block of Northeast Front Street (SR 14).  Mr. Barnes was known to be wanted by Detectives following warrants being obtained following an August investigation.  In the August investigation that was conducted on Wellness Way, heroin and drug paraphernalia were seized.  Mr. Barnes has been charged with Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Mr. Barnes was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2 and released on his own recognizance.  Mr. Barnes is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on 09.27.2019 for a Preliminary Hearing.
