Traffic Stop On Coastal Highway Leads To Drug Arrest

On 09.26.2019 Milford Police arrested a New Jersey man after a traffic stop resulted drugs being seized.  On 09.26.2019 an officer on patrol on Coastal Highway (SR 1) at approximately 9:40 pm, conducted a traffic stop after a moving violation was observed.  Investigation conducted during the stop located 236 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  Tyler Maxwell, 21 of Glassboro, New Jersey, was taken into custody at the stop without incident.  Mr. Maxwell has been charged with Possession With The Intent To Deliver A Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Speeding, and Failure To Have License In Possession.  Mr. Maxwell was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #7, where Mr. Maxwell was released on his own recognizance.  Mr. Maxwell was scheduled to appear at the Sussex County Court of Common Pleas on 10.01.2019 for a preliminary hearing.
