Released By Sgt. Robert Masten On 12.03.2019  Incident #51.19.14170 @1751 Hours

On 12.02.2019 officers from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the 500 block of Truitt Avenue to investigate a suspicious male who was believed to have attempted to contact two juveniles in the area as they were walking home from school.  The two juveniles entered their home as they felt he was coming to contact them.  This subject reportedly attempted to contact the two juveniles in the home, but the doors were locked and they refused to open the door.  The subject we are asking the public to help us identify is possibly a black male, large build, with short hair, and possibly a beard.  The subject is believed to have been in a brown truck with brush or trees in the bed of the truck.  He was also talking to a female in a maroon car prior to attempting to contact the juveniles.  We are asking for anyone with information about this to call 302.422.8081 or Crime Stoppers at 1.800.TIP.3333.  Tips can also be submitted online at
