Drug Investigation Leads To Arrest

On 10/28/2020 Members of the Milford Police Department’s Drug and Patrol Units conducted an investigation in the 200 block of North St, Milford, located in Kent County, Delaware. While conducting the investigation, it was discovered that multiple subjects were conducting illegal drug sales in the area, as well as consuming alcoholic beverages on the sidewalk. Officers made contact with the subjects and detained them for further investigation. After further investigation, officers found probable cause to arrest Roosevelt Williams, 21 of Lincoln and Elijah Cannon 22, of Bridgeville.

After a warrant was sent to The Justice of the Peace Court 3 and approved, Roosevelt Williams was charged with 2 counts of Manufacture Deliver Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Possession of Controlled Substance Tier 1 Quantity, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Not Related to Personal Use Quantity Marijuana. He was arraigned at the Justice of the Peace Court 3 and released on $11,000.00 unsecured bail.

Elijah Cannon was issued a criminal summons for a City Ordinance of Unlawful to Consume Any Alcoholic Beverage upon Public Streets Parks Alleys, and released pending a future court date at the Justice of the Peace Court 6.
