Assault Investigation Results In Arrest
On 05/01/2023 at approximately 4:51 p.m., officers from the Milford Police Department's Patrol Division responded to Royal Farms on Silicato Parkway, for an assault. Upon arrival, officers learned that an unknown male and female became disorderly with a store employee while they were in the store. It was reported that the two unknown subjects began to throw merchandise at the store employee damaging the merchandise. It was also reported that the incident continued to escalate at which time the unknown male jumped over the counter and assaulted the store employee, resulting in the employee being injured.
Further investigation identified the pair as Nevis Gregory, 32, and Amber Lewis, 25, both of Dover DE. Investigators were able to locate both subjects on 05/09/2023 and they were taken into custody without incident.
Gregory was charged with Assault 3rd Degree, Conspiracy 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief Under $1000 and Disorderly Conduct. Lewis was charged with Offensive Touching, Conspiracy 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief Under $1000 and Disorderly Conduct. Both Gregory and Lewis had a presentment through Justice of the Peace Court where they were both released on their own recognizance. They both received a no contact order with the victim employee and Royal Farms. They were ordered to appear in the Kent County Court of Common Pleas at a later date.
