On 01/02/2025 at approximately 5:20 p.m., the Milford Police Department was dispatched to the 500 block of Marshall St, Milford DE, for a male suspect, who displayed a firearm while making threats towards two subjects during a domestic dispute.  The male suspect, identified as Steve Florestal, 34 of Seaford, DE, fled from the scene prior to officers’ arrival.  Investigation resulted in officers obtaining a warrant for Florestal.   

Investigative efforts by the Patrol and Criminal Investigations Divisions resulted in Florestal being taken into custody without incident at approximately 10:00 p.m.  During a search of Florestal, officers located cocaine and drug paraphernalia. 

Florestal was charged with:
- Aggravated Menacing
- Terroristic Threatening
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Florestal went before the Justice of the Peace Court 7, who issued a $4,400 cash bail for Florestal.  Florestal was turned over to the Department of Correction.
