Double Homicide Investigation
On June 5th, 2024 at approximately 4:45 a.m., Milford Police Department Patrol was dispatched to the 500 block of S. DuPont Blvd., Milford, Sussex County, DE for a 31 year old male subject, who was bleeding from his head. Officers responded to the area and made contact with the male subject. EMS responded to the scene and rendered medical care to the male subject and he was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Through investigation, officers were prompted to respond to a residence in the 6000 block of Pebblebrook Drive located in the Brookstone Trace Development. Contact was made at the residence and officers located a 31-year-old female and a 3-year-old female deceased.
Milford Police Department Criminal Investigations Division is actively working this investigation. They have a person of interest detained and there is no threat to the public at this time. Further updates to follow.
