Robbery Investigation Leads To Arrest Of Milford Man
On March 15th, 2022 at approximately 11:27 am, officers from the Milford Police Department's Patrol Division and Criminal Investigation Unit responded to the area of Northeast Front Street (SR 14) and East Street to a report of a robbery. Upon arrival officers made contact with a male victim with a serious injury to his face. Further investigation revealed that the incident occurred in the 300 block of South Washington Street. The investigation revealed victim and the suspect had a verbal altercation during which the suspect produced a handgun and struck the victim several times causing a serious injury to his face. During the incident the victim was able to flee to find assistance and eventually was transported to the Bayhealth Sussex Campus to be treated. As a result of this investigation a warrant for Reggie D. Marshall, 20 of Milford, was obtained through the Justice of The Peace Court 2. On March 16th, 2022 Mr. Marshall was apprehended by Delaware Probation and Patrol and turned over to Detectives. Mr. Marshall was charged with Robbery First Degree, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Firearm Person Prohibited, and Assault 2nd Degree. Mr. Marshall was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court 2, where bail was set at $140,000.00 cash. Mr. Marshall was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution and is scheduled to appear at the Sussex County Court of Common Pleas on March 24th, 2022 for a preliminary hearing.
