Swift Response Results in Arrest of Milford Man
On January 12, 2025 at approximately 12:42 a.m., Milford Police Department was dispatched to the Shore Stop located in the 400 block of Bay Rd., Milford, DE 19963, in reference to an alarm. When officers arrived on scene, they observed that the front glass door was damaged, but no entry had been made to the business. Through further investigation, officers were able to identified Bryant Ratlief, 33 of Milford, DE, as the person causing the damage to Shore Stop.
Officers searched the area, located Ratlief and took him into custody without incident.
He was charged with:
- Attempted Burglary 3rd Degree
- Criminal Mischief over $1000.00
Ratlief went before the Justice of the Peace Court 7, who issued a $1,000.00 unsecured bail for Ratlief. Ratlief was released with a future court date in the Kent County Court of Common Pleas.
